Summer Workshop

We are excited to invite you to the Minnesota Chapter of The Wildlife Society’s 2026 summer workshop, “Partnerships on the prairie: Conserving Minnesota’s grasslands for wildlife and people,” on Thursday, September 10 at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center in Fergus Falls, MN.

 

This full‑day workshop brings together conservation professionals from state, federal, tribal, and non‑profit organizations working across Minnesota’s prairie landscape. The morning and early afternoon will feature presentations on prairie restoration, management, monitoring, and collaborative conservation efforts across the state. In the afternoon, join us for an outdoor guided field journaling session inspired by Aldo Leopold’s reflective approach to observing and documenting the natural world.
