Travel Grant
The Minnesota Chapter of The Wildlife Society (MNTWS) is committed to the identification and removal of barriers to recruitment as well as effective mentoring, retention of a diverse workforce, and communicating with a diverse range of individuals and groups.
For 2026, we have $1,200 available to support travel grants for the joint meeting of the Minnesota chapters of the American Fisheries Society, Society of American Foresters, and Wildlife Society occurring on Feb. 24-26, 2026. Awards will provide at least $300 of support to help up to four individual attendees defray costs related to travel (mileage and hotel) and meals. Additionally, MNTWS will cover the 2026 meeting registration fee. Travel awards will be provided to recipients before the conference to help reduce out-of-pocket costs on the front end and lower financial barriers.
